70 Maple St. Manistee, MI 49660
With U.S. 31 being one of the busiest roads in Manistee County, planning set out to strategize how to capitalize on thousands of visitors driving by the city of Manistee. Having an impactful presence posed a huge opportunity for meaningful economic impact and could be the difference between visitors stopping in the city or continuing to pass by. In addition to the U.S. 31 corridor plans, the city of Manistee had developed a new logo and brand guidelines and needed to be refreshed throughout the city.
With Amor Sign (A Division of Johnson Sign Co.) historically doing work for the city of Manistee, we were given the important job of fabricating and installing welcome signage along the North and South entrance of the city of Manistee along U.S. 31. Johnson Sign Co. designed, built and installed two gateway monument signs that featured routed aluminum faces with lighted copy and graphics and an aluminum textured finished accent cap to emulate the new branding slogan of Soul of the Water, Soul of the Woods. We also provided the masonry bases using affinity stone. All of this was fabricated in our Manistee shop a few miles away from the locations.
The client was excited and pleased with the outcome of the entrance signs for the city and the project was manufactured and installed within the timeframe outlined. Amor Sign (A Division of Johnson Sign Co.) continues to do work for the city of Manistee as they have for 70+ years.
